Norman Douglas Hayse

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman Douglas Hayse, who left us on September 20, 2025. Doug was born on November 20, 1958, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, to Delbert and Blanche Cooper Hayse. He cherished his roots and had a deep love for his hometown.

Doug was a talented painter and proudly self-employed, finding joy in his work and the relationships he built along the way. He is survived by his two brothers, Roger Dale and Danny Ross Hayse, who will always remember him for his caring spirit and the laughter they shared.

Doug was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Patricia, and his brother, Kenneth. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In keeping with Doug's wishes, he will be cremated, with a burial planned for a later date at Simpson Cemetery. We invite everyone who knew Doug to come together to celebrate his life, reminisce, and share their love for him.
