Mary Patricia Leonard

Mary Patricia Leonard – 97, formerly of Grayson County, passed away October 9, 2023, in Hardin County.

She was a precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, as well as a friend, encourager and inspiration to all that had the privilege to know her. She was a beloved school teacher for 36 years in the Grayson County School District.

Preceding her in death were husbands, Samuel McCloud, Herbert Borgerding and Charles “Dutch” Leonard and one infant grandchild.

Surviving are her sons, Samuel McCloud (Susan) and Bobby McCloud (Karen), Charles “Butch” Leonard (Debbie), Steven Leonard, and daughters, Carol Tuthill (Lyle) and Mary Lewis (Rick), 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Eleanor Gates and brother, Mark (Jackie) Wolfe, as well as her sweet family at Peridot Senior Living Home in Elizabethtown.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 10:30a.m., at Layman Cemetery in Millwood, Kentucky.
