It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Herman Ray Frank, age 81, of Caneyville, who left us on May 27, 2026. Born on November 30, 1944, in Caneyville, he was the cherished son of Robert Lincoln and Lucy Mae Kiper Frank. Herman was a man of simple joys, finding happiness in the strum of his guitar and the soulful tunes of George Jones.

Herman's life was intertwined with family and good friends and the rededication to the Lord. He worked tirelessly as a maintenance worker at Peerless Pottery in Indiana. His hard work and dedication will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his daughter, Barbara Haynes; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. Herman is also survived by his sisters, Marjorie Payton, Linda Crain, and Brenda Henderson; his brothers, David, Thomas, Jimmy, and Donnie Joe Frank; his special friend, Alean Frank; as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.

Herman is now reunited in peace with his beloved wife, Carolyn Faye Frank, and his daughter, Laura Melissa Frank, along with nine siblings who preceded him in death.

A graveside service to honor his life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Frank-Embry Cemetery. Bro. Charlie Lacefield will lead us in celebrating the life of this beloved father, brother, and friend. Join us as we gather to share memories and say our goodbyes.
