Glenna Kaye Tucker Brod

November 13, 1943 — May 25, 2025

Caneyville, Kentucky

Glenna Kaye Tucker Brod, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at her home on May 25, 2025, at the age of 81. Born to the late William O. and Ruth Meyer Tucker, Glenna embodied warmth and compassion that touched the lives of everyone she met.

Glenna's heart intertwined with love when she married the late Robert Brod, and together they built a life filled with laughter and joy. Throughout her years, she dedicated herself to her vocation as a legal secretary, later serving with grace and devotion as the church secretary at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she made lifelong friendships and contributed to her community.

A true nurturer at heart, Glenna found immense joy in tending to her garden and caring for her beloved animals on the family farm. Her home was often filled with the beautiful sounds of her playing the keyboard and the joyful chatter of family and friends gathered for sewing projects and heartfelt conversations.

Glenna leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by her son, Donald Brod (Tammy), and her daughter, Donna K. White (Terry). She is also survived by her loving brother, Terry Tucker, and treasured grandchildren, Heather Marie Brod and Andrew Joseph Brod, as well as three great-grandchildren, Zaine Alan Ray Shepherd, Isabella Marie Brod, and Payton Marie Gail Shepherd, who will carry her spirit forward; and her loving dog Francis who stayed by her side for the last 13 years.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Glenna's life and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Brod Memorial Gardens in Caneyville. We invite those who wish to pay their respects and honor Glenna's memory to join us in this heartfelt farewell.
