Everett Mills Woodcock

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Everett Mills Woodcock, age 71, of Caneyville, who left us peacefully on March 7, 2026, at his home. Born on August 5, 1954, in Lola, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Mills Woodcock and Evelyn Rae Clark Dowdy. 

Everett was a man of simple pleasures-he found joy in the little things, especially the time spent with his beloved family. A dedicated construction worker at Woosley Construction, his handiwork could be seen in many remodeling projects, each one a testament to his skill and hard work. 

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His beloved wife of 50 years, Jackie Savage Woodcock, stood by him through thick and thin. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Everett Michael and Kevin Allen (Alicia). Everett was also a proud grandfather to Tyler Allen, Shelby Rae, and Eston James Woodcock, and a delighted great-grandfather to Rylee Allen Woodcock. He is survived by his half-brother, Charles Osman, who will surely remember the good times they shared.

Everett was preceded in death by his brother, James Robert Woodcock; and his sisters, Cynthia Louise Dodrill and Pamela Kaye Jones. Their absence will be felt deeply by those who loved him.

In accordance with his wishes, a cremation will take place. We invite everyone whose life Everett touched to join us in remembering the warmth and kindness he brought into our lives.
