Doran Burgin

Doran Newton Burgin, age 74 of Clarkson, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1947, in Louisville the son of the late Charles Thomas and Annabelle Rogers Burgin. One of his greatest joys in life was his career as a Police and Transportation Officer for several law enforcement agencies throughout the country. In his free time, he enjoyed talking to people and spending time with his family. He had a special love of dogs and guns. Left to honor Doran's memory are his wife, Penny Coomer Whitehead Burgin; his daughter, Ladoran Perry; his adopted son, Adrian Burgin; his step-children, Rachel Scott, Eric Whitehead and Ryan Whitehead; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
