Donald Eugene Thomas

Donald Eugene Thomas, 77, of Caneyville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1948, in Vincennes, Indiana, to the late Albert L. Thomas and the late Agnes Young Thomas. 

Donald dedicated his career to the art of industrial painting, working as a self-employed painter who took great pride in his craft. He will be remembered not only for his skills but also for his warm heart and generous spirit. 

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Thomas, as well as three sisters: Dixie Melton, Cynthia Mauck, and Sharon Ferguson. Donald is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as his good friend, Mark Lee.

Per Donald's wishes, cremation was chosen. The Caneyville Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements during this difficult time. Donald Eugene Thomas will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
