Tommy passed away at home on February 27, 2026. He was born February 7, 1958, to his mother, JoAnne Decker, who he was very fond of his entire life, and father, Clous Roach Sr. In his adult life, he worked as a boilermaker traveling the United States for many years until he retired, and was known for being very good at what he did.
He enjoyed motorcycles, both riding and working on them, fishing, working on just about anything with his hands, art projects, and found his most joy in being around dogs rather than people. When you saw him, a glass of sweet tea was never far. Tommy was known for his sense of humor, and knowing how to get a rise out of those he loved.
He is survived by his family, Julie Pharris, Melissa Maxberry, Tosha Pharris, Debbie Roach, Kamryn Combs & baby, Hunter Maxberry, Garrett Pharris, Brandon Hearld, Ryan Hearld, Kobi McKinney, Aaron Pharris, Cathy, Jerry and Morgan Payton. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Clous Tommy Roach Sr., JoAnn Decker McClure; grandparents, Morton and Verbal Decker.
Tommy wished to be cremated and the family has honored his wishes with a memorial at a later date.
Caneyville Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
